I am trying to upgrade a site for the second day now.
First checking hangs - I have confirmed cUrl enabled
Second to skip check and get an error cannot download 2.5 - I made sure 777
Third I tried to decompress Joomla 2.5.6 and uploaded to the jupgrade folder and get a new error - again made sure 777
So I finally set up a new site location to make sure I was on a fresh start and still all the same problems.
Going around in circles and have spent most of my time trying to get help throug forums but after trying all advice I am no further forward.
Please help!!
