I'm still experimenting with the Beta version of redEVENT. The product is getting better and better, so i hope I can finally make the move away from Eventlist.

Today I installed version 2.0b8.2 and I tried to enter a recurring event, once per month for a count of 10. But I only get the next 3 months.

Is the recurrency working normally? I've made 3 tests and all 3 stop at 2 or 3 events, instead of 10.

The second thing I noticed is that when I copy an event to a new date, it creates a new item in the database (the same event with a higher number), but without date- and venue-information. And the new date-information that I entered is now in the event where I copied from!

Also, in the past I've posted the idea of an event image per date. (I'm running a party website, and every party date has it's own flyer). Will that be possible in any of the future releases?

Some extra info that may be helpful:

After I copied the event, and my new event does not contain any date- and venue info, I tried searching for all events in a specific venue. I got this error message:

regarding the repetition issue, did you make sure that the anticipation window in settings is big enough ?

for the event copy, there was a bug indeed, thanks for reporting ! This will be fixed in next release.

You guys need urgently to update the documentation! This leads to unnecessary frustration about the product..!

I experimented with these settings, and the auto-creation of repeating events, and following bugs emerged:

1. If you create a recurring event, and use the "repeat untill" field, the bullet selection (before the field name) is not selected to this field. So the system will use the "repeat count" field, which is the default setting of the bullet. It's only a minor bug, but a bit annoying.

2. When you edit a venue, all the recurrence fields are greyed out, so you cannot alter them. This is probably done by purpose, but you can enter a "repeat untill" field, which leads to misunderstanding of the system. It should be greyed-out as well I guess...

Do you expect this issue to be fixed in the next version? I understood there will be a bugfixed version in a few days now.

I really need to do further testing, because I would like to move from Eventlist to redEVENT. But with even this kind of basic functions not working... well, I'm far away from migrating yet.

I have a subscription to redEVENT for more than 8 months now, so I would finally like to use a working component.
