I wonder is it possible to add an "on the fly" image feature so as to be able to use a third party service such as icecat to get product images? Having to upload thousands of images. Maybe I am missing something and this feature is already possible ?

Hi Paul it is actually somewhat allready possible through the csv system as when you import a CSV file you can do it with full URLs.

Yes I had tried this as VM also allows it, but using the import adds the media location of the local host to the url for example www.mysite.com/images/media/http:icecat.images.org/imagex.jpg

Perhaps I am using the wrong fields on the import product_full_image and product_thumb_image
