JInstaller::install: SQL Error. DB function failed with error number 2006 ... then there's a whole page of description - please see that attached file

Getting this error when installing com_redevent. Am I doing something wrong? Have tried redownloading the component but still get the same result.

is this a first install of redevent ? if yes which version ? did you managed to install other components successfully ? joomla version ?
