Greetings,

When I found your site through joomla.org I was looking for a hassle free upgrade from joomla 1.5 to 2.5. However, here is what I found in reality. A headache!!!!!! and one big JOKE!!!!! Some of us have expect that if an application is rather popular there is good support for that and the extensions. Whether free or paid. I ran into a problem which seems rather COMMON!!!! with one of your extensions for joomla. I searched for some good amount of time which was WASTED!!!!!!!!! since every post I could find the responses to them are "I have the same problem as you have you figured out a solution?" Now I do see there is a paid subscription to get support, but why pay for something that you can not even see if there is any responses to the questions from either the devs or admins?

After seeing the responses in the general non subscription based parts of the forums. This can put a very very bad taste into the mouth of potential subscribers. Which it has with myself. I had asked a simple question in one of the topics yet there is no response from anyone from redcomponent for over 1 week now. Only response I got was "did you find a fix? and if so how did you correct it?"


If you all plan to keep these extensions popular and useful for a well known application. GET YOUR ACTS TOGETHER AND START RESPONDING TO YOUR USERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ihighly doubt that I will ever ever ever recommend ya all for any extensions due to your poor poor support.

There is a BIG green banner explaining the support functions.

I get super support by ticket. So i am very happy with Redcomponent.
