I must be doing something wrong, so would appreciate any hints:

Just downloaded and installed redFORM in Joomla 2.5. Content-redForm is enabled in the plug-in manager.

Problem 1: I created a form, then tried to create a field. If I make the field type either check box or radio, redForm shows an area to add options, so I click Add. I type in something for option and value, then click submit. It looks like that works, but no options are listed in the option area of the field. So I guess I'm not adding options correctly or in the right place -- how or where would this be done?

Problem 2: I created an article and included the code to display a form. When I access the article as a user, I get the following

COM_REDFORM_FORM_NOT_STARTED

But I don't see where to start anything else -- the plug-in is already enabled. So what do I need to start?

EDIT: Problem 2 Solved! Noticed an earlier message and checked the form start and end dates: start date was in the future (which is kind of weird because I didn't set it, but whatever....)

I have reviewed the relevant areas in the Wiki but don't see the solution to problem 1.

Sorry for such confusion, and thanks for any ideas to get me started.

I'm not sure if you worked through this but make sure you check the start date for the form

Just saw you had this fixed. Sorry I didn't read it all the way through to your edit.

Suffering with the same problem I'm afraid. No problem with the start date, but the options won't save.

I get a modal window to add options, fill all fields, click submit, modal disappears and there's no options in the place I assume the list must be. They also do not appear on the front end, although the field label (and tooltip) do.

I have the problem with radio button, checkbox and multiselect.

Joomla: 2.5.7
Redform: com_redform_2.5.b.4.3.tar
PHP: 5.3.8

Thanks in advance for your help!

I just created my first form and also get the "COM_REDFORM_FORM_NOT_STARTED " on the Article page.

My form in redForm says it is Published and Form Started... (although the images for each are broken links).

I am open to what to do next.

Have you tried putting the start date a couple of days in the past? Your server time might be different than "real" time. Just a thought...

I'm having trouble adding select box options as well. I have installed 2.5.b.4.2 just today - I didn't see a 2.5.b.5.0 download. I tried checkbox too - same problem.
