Summary: Install puts language files in unexpected location (en-GB)

Version: redEVENT 2.5.b.4.1

Description:

1. Install Joomla 2.5.x
2. Install redEVENT 2.5.b.4.1
3. Look for the file en-GB.com_redevent.ini in /language/en-GB/ directory

Result:
The file en-GB.com_redevent.ini is not there as expected. Instead, it is located in /components/com_redevent/language/en-GB/

Expected result:
Generally, language files are placed in /language/xx-XX/ directory.

Note:
Language overrides still work as expected.
The administrator has disabled public write access.
