Pre Sale Questions Print this page
Hi Ronni,

I've used RedEvent last year in conjunction with DTRegister as at that time you didn't offer payment integration - and now you do!

My question is this,

If I am a user and register for an event, while I've created my user details can I buy more than one event while I'm logged.

What I want to AVOID this year is having the user to re log in to purchase another event, entering the info all over again, this was inconvenient and it also meant a lot more admin.

I need to be certain I can achieve this, as I will go exclusively with yourselves this year, I was really sad I couldn't use your software complelety last year as it's excellent - well done and keep up the good work!

Noel.

I am not sure i understand the question: do you mean that you don't want the user to have to refill the 'event' registration form (from redform, not the 'user' registration form, from joomla) all over for each event ?

Re: Pre Sale Questions Print this page
hi Julien,

Sorry for the confusion - what I mean is a sort of "shopping-cart" idea.

So, for example, we have 3 events available to purchase/to register for.

As a user, I register my details on the webform, and then in this session, I am able to have the option of buying tickets to the 3 events in the same session, without having to reenter my info billing details again individually for each ticket - like a shopping cart idea and then checkout when I have chosen my events.

So I get one email, the user gets one email, as opposed to 3 separate confirmation emails.

This is more time efficient for the user and administrator, and this was a common complaint from my attendees at last year's event.

So is it possible to achieve the above?

Many thanks for your help. Noel.

sorry, i am sure i replied... but apparently it went wrong.

Basically, no, sorry, this is not possible, and i don't think this is something simple to implement. This is a good idea, but i can't tell you if and when this will be implemented.
