TOPIC: Getting form to paginate in RedEvent

Getting form to paginate in RedEvent 3 years 6 months ago #4934

When I use the call to a form, in this case "{redform}2{/redform}", that copy/syntax is what shows up on the page, not the actual form

If I change the call to "[redform]2[/redform]", the form shows up with "2[/redform]" at the end and, when using the form, submitters go to ALL forms.

What am I doing wrong? I have installed and turned everything on, followed all of the instructions to the letter, and can't seem to get this to work properly. I've been doing sites in Joomla for quite a while so I'm not a newbie. I just can't understand why this doesn't work properly

When I apply the call {redform} in a regular article, everything works just fine. It's only when using it inside of the actual webform option in RedEvents that I get nothing

You cant use the redform tags from redform in redevent - you need to use the special tags inside redEVENT thats designed to call a form like [venues] in the details page will list all dates/venues where an even takes place and links to the webform signup or alternatively the [webformsignuppage] or [redform] tags.

I'm having the same issue on the webformsignup page as well. Nothing inside of the RedEvents component is recognizing the RedForms calls.

I thought I had a work around by pushing the Redform to an article but now even that doesn't work (just goes to a blank white page after hitting "submit"). By 9AM this morning I've got to show this client that their system is working correctly. Otherwise, I will 'have egg' all over my face and probably be let go from the project.

At this point, I'm at my wits end.

So posts number 4 on the same subject... I dont think i have much to add from the last 3 answers i gave (look around) but redEVENT has no job in running the redFORM plugin calls - redEVENT and redFORM is integrated so you control where to input redFORM in redEVENT from within redEVENT (as per the documentation).

PS. taking over other peoples threads to bumb your own topic is not acceptable on any forum so please make your own threads.
