Hello,
I posted the following issue over three weeks ago and haven't received any answers to fix it. I have a 12 month pro subscription which should really have these types of questions answered. Can a developer please review this question and come back to me with an answer.
Marcus has the website loggin details but they can be supplied again if needed.

I am having an issue on my clients redSHOP website. It's the
Standard Solar website.
The website has the redSHOP login link for returning customers who want to see the status of their order.
However, some new customers are clicking the 'login' link first and registering their details before going through the purchase process.
This causes two issues when customers buy products in this sequence:
1: If a customer registers first and then goes on to make a purchase they can't get past the first payment page without entering their details again in the shipping fields even though the shipping is set to be address by default.
2: If a customer registers first and then goes on to make a purchase,
the purchase orders do not retain any product attributes which is important for us to know.
Video one show how the above is happening.
Video two show an order being placed when a customer select a product first and then registers - orders placed in this sequence retain the product attributes.
Marcus, I have emailed you your login details to get into the site.
UPDATE - NOTE FROM SITE OWNER:
With regards the purchase order, the customer are not purposely registering then not ordering, they are clicking buy now, completing registration and then not finalising their purchase, perhaps calling with questions, sending e-mails etc and then returning at a later time or day to purchase.
Many thanks,
Neil.
