I am trying to set up my first competition using redCOMPETITION, I have set the competition up in the back end, pretty simple - one question with a test answere, nothing is showing on front end - I am using Joomla 1.5 and have tried connection both through an article (I pasted the com tag into the article) and by changing the menu type (like with VirtueMart) still not working. Am I doing something wrong? All i get at front end is this message 'Sorry, there was a problem with your submission'
I also need people to enter an email address to enter. Do I also need to download redFORM for this?
Please Help - I'm going round in circles!

So you did set in the {competition}1{/competition} tag inside an article and you did create a form from redFORM for it to use?

Well I have managed to get the form to show up (I did paste the tag into the article)- however within the redform section I have a random message about there been no forms found? I need people to enter an email address to enter the conpetition. How do i go about that? Do I need to download redFORM to? Thanks for replying.

Yes you need to install redFORM too.

You make a form with email, fullname + other field values if you like (for the fields in the form).

Then you make the competition with questions and answers (same logics as redFORM) and enter the form id from redFORM - and now when you enter the competition tag its all loaded into the article.

i have managed to get that sorted but I am recievinbg 2 emails per entry - how can i get it so i recieve one email containing all the informations from both redCOMPETITION and redFORM? Also is seems that when people put the correct answere in it is showing up as incorrect? Any pointers on that?

Oh and I am also recieving a submission email when someone tries to enter twice. The Unique option in the back end is selected for all fields!
