redEVENT and redFORM Component 2.0b9.0

The main highlight of the is release is the rewrite of the frontend event submit. This is now much simpler, and fields to hide/display can be set in global settings.
Existing 'events' can be used as 'template' for hidden fields, and can be defined globally, plus at category level.

we are still working on it, but it's a bit more under the hood, code cleaning, refactoring, etc..., rather than about new features at the moment

Wil the integration with Joomla 1.6 be swift?

it shouldn't be too difficult (i think the biggest task is to rewrite language strings labels)
